Bravo you, Mr. President, there and try. You never know what is good for you.

@ Eric5906: it funny that you say trade / high school trying to sell you something. I think they just want to fall into the work of those who do not try to make them go to their school.

@hehatemee: agree with your comments. I’ve got friends in Los Angeles, CA who go to plenty of job fairs, only to find companies not hiring, or only talking to people with years of experience, or trade/tech schools trying to sign you up/sell you something.

Thank you for putting up this video. . . . . I’ve been to job fairs and found out that a lot of them don’t really look for people. It almost seems silly that companies would show up to one if they had no intention to hire anyone. Just a waste of time.

Of course you’re right about hard work and luck. Sure working hard and being intelligent will get you places. But having luck on your side will separate you from the average person. Great video!!!!

  7. Hostnationorg on July 26th, 2010

@rollinglibs101 Marxism? What are you talking about?

  9. omegahpla on July 26th, 2010

One smart move would be, get the hell out of Michigan, go to a non communist state. The way Michigan is set up you have to be a crook to have the best chance to make it because most of what is out there with any power or potency is crooked and rotten. And working Law enforcement for a parasitic government? Nothing like being part of a parasitic system that’s killing it’s host, I’d advise against it if you want to keep your soul.

NONONONO! DEMCAD . . . LISTEN . . . Luck? Sure there is luck, but to be successful you have to hit it time after time, and it’s NOT LUCK. Being born into a successful family? You think that causes success through no logical cause and effect? THE DEAL IS: Success comes from doing the right things. That’s what successful people teach their kids. You have to believe first and not make stupid excuses like it’s mostly luck, successful people don’t think like that or they wouldn’t be. It’s smart hard work

    @omegahpla

Speaking of bullshit there has never been more of it.

  12. omegahpla on July 27th, 2010

@oc5nsli341nforce4 . . . Starting your own thing has never been easy, that’s why not everyone does it. You need the vision to see what’s out there you can get people to pay you for or a product, and the willingness to work and work smart and never stop trying. Without that you would never have made it at any time. Excuses like that are BULLSHIT. Black people can start businesses, Chinese people, poor people. You need one thing, willingness to use your head and work hard, and fail maybe. That’s it.

You sound like you are advocating Marxism?. . If so it has failed many times. . Caused nothing but death and Despotism. .

I an x law enforcement officer. I got tired of hearing words like “liability” and having my hands tied because some liberal judge allows frivolous litigation. So I got a quiet little job at a haunted hotel, and I bought a big knife and practice my survival skills until TSHTF. Those that are prepared will be leaders. Those that can make the adjustment will be followers. Those that are totally unprepared will be statistics.

@veganburgh which reminds me, someone I know from Alberta almost got into “serious trouble” at the border once, because the person on the USA side believed Canada only had a Quebec and Ontario and since there’s no such thing as Alberta (also as big as California) she must be using fake identity papers. Except actually the border staff are obviously retarded.

  16. ytgv3fc7 on July 27th, 2010

@veganburgh I mean something more temporary for housing and more permanent for routes & such, so that while each person is assisted, they’re not assisted for very long by the company, it’s to get them a job *anywhere* else in *any* kind of field where normally a person would be expected to do all the footwork which greatly limits movement across a state (or a province: our province of BC is as big as California if not bigger, and Saskatchewan or Manitoba aren’t much smaller!!)

Yes, it seems that the rich and powerful have become completely open about their position, and arrogant in abusing their power and position (like in passing the TARP and Health Care Bills, etc. ) I’m thinking that the next American Revolution will likely have components of the French Revolution, and a lot of “American Aristocrats” are going to lose their heads (and rightfully so!).

I was laid off and out of work for 9. 5 months. I started to talk about something I knew to people (on-line); I found out quickly I was shutdown, erased & within within a few hours after I was shutdown, I was offered a good job (actually 3 jobs, within hours) and the IRS send me back $3,700. a few days later (out of the blue, some babbling garbage) saying I made a mistake on my taxes. I deemed I was very fortunate-safety wise. I’m keeping my mouth closed.

What was the purpose of having a booth at a job fair if they aren’t hiring?!?!? I think your right about class taking over the system. I stopped going to the job fairs out here because I can’t compete with someone who was just laid off and shows up in a three piece suit. I’ve changed my tactics to approaching one employer at a time, and it’s getting better results

  20. oc5nsli341nforce4 on July 27th, 2010

    Futile!

I have over the last few years been wanting to start my own company and be self employed but like every thing else down the drain. All that is left for my generation is xbox. =/

Sigh time to suck it up and go for another round of student loans.

I just got a job with a contracting firm, its my first semester in college and im doing coop in the summer. They hired me for 15 dollars to start off, they said if i work out they will give me a raise, its not that bad here in ontario. Im going to be working like 50 hours a week so ill make back my tuition and some. I cant complain. Its all about getting out there, in the right field. My field is pretty easy and fun, and civil engineers are always needed.

@ Chiyerano search again, it may not be very different. I like more negative karma and nature is not a passive system of punishment and reward, but as a positive control system entities. Physical distribution of a pair of evil big favor, and its master is evil. Sometimes people get their retribution, I say this is because the power of good to help us égard.C This is what I see it, I think.

  24. chiyerano on July 27th, 2010

@chiyerano I am just saying these things based on what I’ve come to understand from experience, observation, reading, and discussions from both Christians and non-Christians alike.

  25. chiyerano on July 27th, 2010

@DemonHide What exactly is that you don’t agree with just out of curiosity? I am not trying to start an argument or anything. I am just curious about your idea of karma.
